“Mixing console for your iPod”

For the past month or so I’ve been joking with the idea of getting my own DJ set. I don’t want to get into it for money or anything… just as a hobby. I remember back in da day when I got my first job. I tried to put together my own little set. My mother gave me her old turntable and I bought one of those cheap mixers with the sound effects. That dream didn’t get far cause I couldn’t keep up with buying vinyl and the turntables I had were ancient.

I gave my mixer away a couple years ago but I never lost the urge to buy a new set. Now with the age of MP3s and digital mixers I think I might shell out a couple bucks and get something.

This recent digg post had me thinking about an iPod mixer. Previously I had my mind on those CD mixers but this iDJ thing takes the cake. If this thing isn’t priced crazy I might buy one.
